The MPMS community is committed to excellence in both academics and personal integrity. In keeping with our school’s mission, honest and ethical behavior is expected of all MPMS students.
I agree to abide by the following honor code:
1. I will take credit for my own work. I will not cheat, help others cheat, or allow other students or adults to do my work for me.
2. I will not plagiarize, but will give others credit for their work. I will use quotations, put information into my own words (paraphrase), and cite sources when I use someone else’s ideas, words, or images.
3. I will use an assignment or project only once, and will not reuse my own work with a different class or teacher.
4. I will not forge (fake/copy) signatures, records, information, or grades.
5. I will not discuss tests or other assessments with students who have not yet taken them.
I, ______________________________________________, am aware of the MPMS Honor Code and pledge to uphold its standards. I understand there will be direct consequences for any and all violations of this code, including a discipline referral to a school administrator.
